Afte completing my post-graduation in 2005, I joinded the senior residency programme at PGIMS, Rohtak. In April 2006, I became part of a trust-based hospital in Panipat. In October 2007, I embarked on my journey of estab- lishing a private practice, starting from a small rented setup. With unwavering dedication, I gradually nurtured my prac- tice under the name Dermawave. In 2011, a significant mile- stone was achieved as we expanded our services by inaugu- rating a centre in Kurukshetra. Subsequently, in 2016, we ex- tended our reach to Jammu, followed by openings in Ghazi- abad in 2017, Patna and Ranchi in 2019, Delhi in 2021, and Kaithal in 2023. This marked the successful establishment of a chain of Dermawave centres across various locations. My journey has been one of perseverance, growth, and commit- ment, and I am excited to see what the future holds.

In the field of medical science, you simply cannot confine yourself to the knowledge acquired during your graduation and post-graduation. New techniques and technologies consistently emerge, requiring us to adapt our practices to the current demands. We continually upgrade our equipment and services, striving to offer the optimal choices to our patients. The landscape today differs significantly from when we initiated our practice. We make it a priority to address pa- tients’ concerns and provide them with the latest available treatments. With a growing emphasis on aesthetic appear- ance, people are more conscientious and informed. Conse- quently, we must evolve our treatments and incorporate novel approaches into our repertoire.

A lot of aesthetic/cosmetic clinic are coming up these days, but not all are qualified dermatologists. So, always check the credential of dermatologist you visit to keep your skin safe. A lot of doctors from other specialties are indulging themselves in the field of dermatology/aesthetics and falsely claim them as dermatologist, cosmetologist. But cosmetologist is no term/degree as per the NMC (National Medical Council). So, kindly beware any such professionals.
